In the dead of winter, sometimes you just can't help but attempt to beat the winter "blues" with vivid, cheerful pieces in a sunny hue. Meet my new best friend, yellow...{though not so mellow}...

How best to wear yellow (or lemon, chartreuse, citron, or mustard) now? With contrasting black (no, you won't look like a bumble-bee) with a tailored blazer or leather jacket, opaque tights and leather accessories accented with gold hardware. Spring is just around the corner, so hold off until then to pair the saffron shade with sandy-colored neutrals. Just some hue for thought...if these photos don't enlighten your fashion aesthetic, then I don't know what will.
